I was inspired many years ago by some images posted on the AP site to get in my car, go out and start take pictures. The original shots were relatively simple slow shutter, moving water shots - but they were enough to motivate me and made me want to have a go...
Yesterday I was out with a good friend who wanted to experiment with some water shots, in particular using ND filters to slow the shutter speed. I know these are simple to do, but I think they are quite effective, they were great fun to do and I have posted them to hopefully inspire another person to go out and have a go.
Techno bits - G11 again, this time using the built in 3 stop ND filter, taking the exposure down to between 1/15 and 1 second - I also had fitted a WC-DC58B (0.75 converter) which takes the wide angle down to 21mm… Taken on the River Okemont at Okehampton which has been fed by the recent rains on Dartmoor - enjoy...
