Is it wrong that I immediately thought of this...

wow, that's a whole lotta awesome photos. The dice, the cellar, the potrait shots, the rain-reflection...hard to choose a favourite. All the best to the contenders and to the judge choosing the winner

    Re: First post

Very early days and yet already 56 entries. The theme this month is really getting everybody on their toes. Favourites in my book: Clive, Nig, J-de-B; Simon.K, Chris.B, Webbian, Apchris, YaBBa and f.o.d., but really this one is wide open.

You did a great job, nice pic! But not sure the imprint on it helps a lot.

I've really enjoyed looking through the entries this month. Some top rate photography...

YaBBa's is my favourite, but I also like ChrisByrne's, Simon_King's and Nibblewood's entries.

It does however create a level playing field for everyone to enter.

You could of course create a version that is 600px/100k and ask for your original entry to be replaced...

Unfortunately another one from the 'archives' for me as I've been too busy with work to go out taking new shots! Picture was quite fitting IMO : )

I loved the arches just off the quad. I used to have my philosophy classes there. Used to have lovely cherry blossom trees and you felt in a different world

Fab images submitted, especially the black and whites, fantastic. I'd hate to judge a bunch of my favourite shots like 'just by the window/underneath the arches/the sax player/let there be light'. Love'em! :-)

Re: Mar10 comments “Darkness and light”

My entry was going to be a view through a castle window, but there are already a couple of those so I am trying to think of something else.

So far, Underneath The Arches is my favourite, wonderful shot.
