    Memory:where to buy?

I need to add more RAM to my PC.It`s a mine field if you don`t know what to get but I`ve solved that by going here ,although they seem expensive.

I`ve previously bought hardware from Scan in Bolton but that was in 2006.Does anyone know who is the cheapest reliable source these days?
    I`d appreciate recommendations.

    Cheers Dave

    Crucial

I found Crucial a few years back and without them I wouldn't have known what memory I needed for an old desktop computer that I got cheap.

If a company goes to all the trouble of setting up such an informative site that helps me, then naturally, I would buy from them - call me old fashioned if you like

    Re: Crucial

With memory cheap and reliable aren't things that go together. I always use Crucial, for PC or Mac memory it'll just work (unless you've picked the wrong model).

    Re: Crucial

I have used Crucial several times too, after some less than brilliant experiences with other suppliers (PC World). Crucial supply the right product and it works, what more do you need?
