    Adjustment Layers

I was following the article by Richard Sibley in AP of 6th Feb. It was about using adjustment layers to select and later modify a selection.

At step 4 it says go to select>refine edge and a pop up dialogue will emerge.

I'm running CS2 and there's no such tool as 'refine edge' - at least not one that I can find. I can still follow the (very useful and excellent) article but in a much more ugly fashion.

    Am I missing something?

Looks like Refine Edge was introduced in CS3

Refine Edge replaced 'feathering' in CS3, so maybe you can substitute that?

As I said there are ways round - but a little more convoluted.

Judging by the screen grab in the magazine the refine edge command does rather more than just feather. I can read Radius;Contrast;Smooth;feather;contract/expand all in the same "work box". Looks interesting.
