    BG-E6 AA option

    Hi chaps.

I know the BG E6 grip gives the option of using AA batteries. I assume this is an emergency option when you're stuck. Has anyone used AA in it and if so how many shots do you get?

    Thanks

    Willie

    Willie,

When I first used the 5DII on holiday last year, I used the Grip loaded with AA batteries (Duracell M3) and I had taken around 400 shots before reverting to the Canon batteries - the original Duracells are still loaded in the attachment on standby and still a good charge.

I'm sure this item was discussed last year with Jack (Doneandrundle).

Life, is only as complicated, or as serious, as you want it to be - your choice.
