There's a wonderful incongruity about Gollum's entry. The red buttonhole matched by the red high heels and supermarket bags. I love it.

That's all very well but what does Ken Rockwell have to say on the matter?
Thank you Mike, its not really my type of thing, although i'm working on it, but I couldn't resist this when it presented itself...lol

I like this one - it is made all the better by the disapproving lady on the left (bet she is a Daily Mail reader contemplating the disintegration of society)

I'd say 5 or 6 minutes at a time but I'm not really sure, when he comes up his face is like beetroot!
How long was he upside down ?
I think there's a H&S issue here!

Maybe he hides his head in a bucket because it looks like a beetroot?I'd say 5 or 6 minutes at a time but I'm not really sure, when he comes up his face is like beetroot!

lollipoplass1, is that sax playing chap in Prague?
Joe.
Hi Longun
Yes - he was in Prague's Old Town Square, playing songs like Strangers in the Night and My Way. Sometimes he would sing a few verses too. A real character!

Love the picture submitted by Jon_Fitton a childrens Trike chained up to a lamppost made me giggle, very well thought of very well done.
Love the combination of movement and static objects. In fact, I had been planning something similar. So grrrrr to you for getting there first!![]()
I love your entry! There's something very subliminal in it and also quite ubiquitous, but I can't quite put my finger on. Is it because the man is walking from darkness to light and the shadow of the tree is a metaphor for life in light or is it because of the CCTV camera a top of the scene that kind of reminds me that were all under big brother's eye either we hide in darkness or not? It's quite intriguing for me and I think it's top street stuff! Well done!![]()
Some great stuff this month.

Thanks Mike, I was oversized at first then must've given Fen a dud link, all sorted now![]()
FujiSigmaNolta - Thanks for the great comments. To be honest, it was one of those lucky shots where everything falls into place. I was walking along with the aim of taking street photos, and saw the shadow of the tree on the wall which I really liked. I just had to wait around for a bit until someone came into frame at the right point. It has something different about it that I can't quite put my finger on.
Others have said it before but I'd like to say it again. The standard of this competition seems to get higher every month, which I think is fantastic. It really helps to push my photography.

My first post this month and I'm blown away by some of these pics. Excellent quality all round.
Hey Andy, judging by the tartan mix does he belong to clan McAll or clan McEvery.![]()
