    Which camera

Hi everyone I am new to this forum and also new to photography.
I am currently using a Pentax Z-70 35mm SLR and I am looking at buying a DSLR preferably Pentax.
Can anyone give me some pointers as to what to look out for (good and Bad)

    Regards

    Matthew

    Re: Which camera

Hello Matthew and welcome to the forum.

If you already own a Pentax, the lens will work on your new dslr, providing it is a Pentax of course. One of the features of Pentax dslr cameras is the high level of backward compatibility with older lenses. If possible always go for lenses with an 'A' position on the Aperture ring, as these will give you the best use of the new camera's features.

Because of this you can pick up excellent used Pentax film lenses from companies like Ffordes (See AP adverts) for very good prices.
