    Hi,

For Thailand you might want to look at a website called Photography Thailand.
I have been there many times myself and going again this year (with family before anyone asks). Bangkok is a fantastic place with a huge variety of aspects / locations to shoot. I can recomend the Golden Palace, Reclining Buddha as good tourist places to visit and plenty of things to photograph from people to golden statues and an amazing miniture stone carving for Angkor Wat.

Chatuchak market is amazing but only open on weekends. MBK shopping centre often has shows on outside and is the mecca of all things fake lthough there are some guine things there to be had at a bargain.

The Canon camera centre is there and does a very cheap camera cleaning service.

The old capital city of Ayutthaya which if memory serves me is about an 1 - 1 1/2 hours drive (bus journey / tour group) from Central bangkok. This place is very quite in the week and offers plenty of photo opportunities.

Realy the options there are unlimited. I'll try and route out some of my old pix and post a couple to give you an idea.

    Cheers Ally

If you are in Singapore, I cannot recommend too highly the Night Safari. You won't be able to take many photos due to the lack of light, but is an absolutely amazing experience. Taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced, but don't leave your homeward trip until too late because the rates go up!
Too many cameras, too many lenses.......
