    How do you get this look?

    The windmills are stationary, but the clouds are in motion (or blurred), how do you achieve something like this?

    Maybe the windmills were locked down.

    The sails don't always move.

    What Fen said.

    Michael Kenna sometimes uses exposures of several hours, often overnight, for some of his images. His work in Japan is particularly great.
