    Fuji RAW converters - choices

I wonder if anyone knows of a good converter for Fuji Finepix S6500fd RAW images? I have been offered a 6500 cheaply, but no software (I have PhotoShop on my main PC which is terminally dead). Thanks.

Brilliant! Thanks folks - that's more options than I thought would be possible. I'll grab the 6500.

I have been using this one myself. s7raw is a great bit of free software but not very intuitive to use. I think if your force yourself up the learning curve it is well worth the effort. Albeit there is no obvious work flow path so could be daunting to new users who want instant auto results.

You could check if adobe DNG converter works with fuji raw formats (I take it they are RAF files). you can convert to dng (digital negative) files then they will open in photoshop. I'm almost certain that was what I used to use with my S7000.
