Whilst in the US I was keen to experience some live sport. The Cowboys were only playing on Thanksgiving Day and tickets were impossible to come by, but we did manage to catch the Dallas Stars playing.

There's nothing particularly special about his one, I just love the quality from the GF1 in tricky conditions.

I also took a couple of videos with the GF1. I'll have to see if there's any way to correct the white balance on video.

Now, at halftime the football we're all used to seeing a hairy arsed groundsman slope onto to the pitch to fork a few divots back into place. I think that football should take a leaf out of the NHL's book.

Cool pic and vids Barney ... and regarding the cleansing of the ice surface ... things certainly have
changed since I donned the skates

The Way the ice is generally cleaned betwixt periods ...

and

A rather novel way of cleaning the ice surface and keep the entertainment going ...

...but still not as entertaining as the Dallas North Stars method

Hey Jack! The girls actually came out during the breaks for TV commercials. The Zamboni still came out between periods (periods of play, not the girls'!
