Local developing labs in Essex?

Anyone on here know of a good processing lab for 120 in Essex, preferably in the Thurrock, Basildon or Southen areas.

Im only after processing, not printing. I cant seem to find anywhere by searching online so was hopeful that someone on here would have a recommendation.

I usually get my films processed via mail order but I dont want to risk the delays or loses during these postal strikes.

There's just one lab listed in the current "Professional Photographer" - offering film processing, and vaguely close to Essex! Genesis Imaging. They're based at Fulham which isn't Essex, I know, but nearer than the Lake District...

I am in Brentwood: I can do 120 B/W at £1-50 a roll,process only. I have over 50 years of experience in 'Traditional Photography' and have all the chemicals, time and skill but NO WORK as (a) People don't want Wedding Photos any more- thay are all 'living together' with 'partners' (b) Don't want Professional Portraits (c) Local newspapers all closed their offices,got rid of receptionists,use their staff photographers over a huge area,that if they can't get to a job it doesn't get done! (d)No 'PR' work or Council work-- the 'girl in the office with a Nikon Coolpix gets to do all the Photography. Please PM me if interested, Thanks, Peter

Malcolm Stewart has his own darkroom, chemicals, tanks etc. and was merely trying to help the OP. Perhaps you ought to contact the OP instead?

Thanks Mr Stewart for giving me the idea to try one of those 'Private Message' thingys --- I had a go and sent it.Hope I get some work -- will buy you a cuppa if you visit Brentwood Photographic Club !
