Check the Firmaware and update it to version 2.1, it has a feature that lets you return zoom to position when camera was last turned off and I can not believe just how useful this function is.
What an ace camera, picked on up yesterday and am very impressed even though I didn't think I'd manage without a hole to look through. As Pam says upgrade the firmware to version 2.1 , it's got some useful extras.
