Anyone know how much it would cost to have a viewfinder changed from 0.85 to 0.58? Can any good approved reparier do this or must the camera go to Leica itself?

I think it will have to go back to Leica, maybe Solms, not just MK. As for cost, huge. My guess is £1000+.

I'd agree with Mark.
You'd probably be better off seeking out a 0.58 camera and trading yours in against it to be honest.
