Hi, this is my site http://rp.clifford.org.uk/potpourri/index.html
It is built upon "Album" which is a Perl application. You type "album" on the command line and it builds the website of the photographs in the current directory and sub-directories.

I have enhanced/degraded the out-of-the-box Album with my own themes and have written the Perl that that writes the Javascript that creates the slidesshows.

Some of my photographs now have location information so there are links to Google maps; for example, the geotag on http://rp.clifford.org.uk/potpourri/...jpg.index.html

This section is a place for community contributors** to point others to their PERSONAL web portfolios, and invite constructive criticism and feedback of the site's look and feel, design, layout and presentation, etc.

As such posting image hosting platforms and out-of-the-box galleries is a pointless exercise (flickr, etc.) as the user has little choice in how their work is presented. Only post sites you, the owner, has had some input with regards it's look, build and functionality.

It's a 'standard' gallary. What more would you like me to say? There isn't much you could do with it. The blog could do with updating - last entry was 2008.

Well, as you say "it builds the website" and it is "out-of-the-box". This room is really for stuff youve designed yourself and whether it works/how it could be improved, not for "out of the box" stuff.

I appreciate you say youve edited certain parts/chosen certain themes or whatever but thats not really what this room's for.

If you really want me to comment Id say its a bit untidy, the text and EXIF data moves about and is a bit messy, same for the "next" button moving about all the time, but thats to comment on a mainly out of the box product. The slideshow's OK.

Although there are some nice photos on there, I think there are too many and a lot of galleries and info which you don't need.
