    Autumn in South Devon

With Autumn just around the corner I was wondering if anyone knows of any good places in the Torquay - Paignton - Totnes areas of South Devon to get some great shots of trees, leaves etc.

    Much appreciated!

Try Hembury woods, just outside Buckfast. A little (4-5 miles) outside the stated range but still within easy reach. The woods on the far side of the Millpool at Stoke Gabriel from the car park can be good too but the causeway can be slippery and access is tide dependent.

Any of the NT places should be good, I quite like Coleton Fishacre near Brixham (handy as a wet weather agenda as you can pop into Mifsuds)or drop down into Kingswear/Dartmouth. If you fancy a run onto Dartmoor try - Wistman's Wood near Two Bridges which is an ancient woodland! - 47 species of mosses and liverworts and 119 species of lichen have been recorded here. (that was a cut and paste!!)
