Those who visited the Fred Miranda forums a few years back may remember Guy from there. He started a thread comparing his Canon 1Ds II with the Leica DMR (using the same Leica glass on both); at the beginning he fully expected to sell the DMR on without much delay - the 6MP difference being one reason, but things didn't turn out that way, and eventually it was the Canon that went. The thread became one of the longest ever on FM, if not the longest.

Guy currently runs a Phase One outfit.

I've not read this myself as yet.
