I have a Minolta 7i, it looks like the focal mech motor drive is faulty, needs a replacement. As Minolta has packed up manufacture, (2 years later) probabally it is now difficult finding spares. Has anyone any suggestion as to finding someone to repair it, and if so at a reasonable cost.
It may not be worth trying to have it repaired I suppose, but it was an expensive camera at the time of purchase. Perhaps it would be best to buy another make, find a more stable company.
