Hi im thinking of geting a tripod to use in studios. My choice is a Manfrotto 055cx3 with a 808rc4 head. Any one used this combo. Ill have to lug it around on trains ect. Any coments would be a help.

I use the 055 standard heavy model with a variety of heads and I think your suggestion is rather better than my setup though I must say I do like the 322RC2 ballhead
