    foolish Hasselblad question

    Dear all,

I have just boght a 2nd hand A16 back which has come without its viewfinder mask. Is it better to put ink lines across my existing acute matte screen (preferably not) or should I make something up from a sheet of plastic as used with overhead projectors? Neither sounds ideal to be honest so I would appreciate any ideas anyone might have?

Are the masks still available from Hasselblad?

    many thanks

    Re: foolish Hasselblad question

The way I have done this in the past, is to get a 6x4.5 slide mount [thin card type ] and lay one half of it on top of the focusing screen. Have also used this technique with a Rollie, when useing 35mm adapter [35mm slide mount used]
    Hope this helps.
    Kenny.

The tears of laughter were running down my legs.
