    push bikes



    it was originally taken in colour, but the only area where there was discernible colour was the blue in the sky. i prefer the desaturated version, but does the compostion work?

    it was taken at 2500m, close to the snow line in the alps last week. the descent back down was awesome by the way

    Yeah, I think the composition works. The path and rock edge lead my eye towards the bikers, and the fact they are in front of a patch of snow makes them 'pop' out from the background more. Overall a very good photo (in my eyes any way).

    I really like the composition, lots of lines drawing the eye to the cyclists. The mono conversion has worked very well. The only thing I would question would be the timing, was there a better position for the cyclists where the two on the left were spaced a bit better? That's being very picky though, it's an excellent shot.
