A simple landscape

Walking by and this caught my eye. What do you think?

I like it a lot. The colour is great and you've caught the moment perfectly. I might have tried it landscape to get the rest of the field in, but then you might have to compromise the strong points of the composition i.e. the tree and the clearing in the foreground.

Looks good James, I bet the original contrasts the distant haze with the foreground detail, unfortunately a little lost by the compression though.
