    Pint of Cider Please

Right, that's me all packed up and ready for Somerset in the morning. Guinea Pigs were delivered to the kennels this morning and I do hope they will be happy with their holiday at 'Just for Cats' (please don't ask lol )

Bought two new pairs of specs from D&A last week. The first pair of vari focals fell apart in the shop when the assistants tried to adjust them. Today the perscription sunglasses lost a little bit of glass where the arm joins the frame. Oh don't you just love the high quality of workmanship these days.

Anyway, I'm off at 10 am to Cricket St Thomas and I'll see just how well the hotel wifi system works, or not, as thje case may be. If you don't hear from me then the wifi is crap

    That's true.

I was a pikeman in an English Civil War battle re-enactment in Devon once (and once only - it was dangerous!). We all sat down on benches at a refectory table for lunch - after a flagon of home-brew all you could hear was the sound of half-armoured bodies hitting the flagstones!!!!!

I did have a copy of a photo that somebody took at the time - 24 pairs of legs sticking up in the air where the owners had just fallen backwards off of the benches. As it's about 30 years ago I doubt if I could find it now, but if I do I'll scan it in and post it - be good for a laugh.
