Please Help!! ("Unexpected end-of-file was encountered")

I took some amazing shots of lightning last night 15sec exposures.

When I tried opening the RAW files in Lightroom and Elements 7.0 I keep getting this:

"unexpected end-of-file was encountered" and the images do not open.

Does anyone know what it means and how I can fix it?

    Please help!!
Shoot shoot shoot and shoot some more!!

I don't know, but from another forum:

"Okay. I've sorted it out eventually. It's a bit sad me answering my own post, but hopefully if someone else has the same problem it will save them the time I've invested in trying to sort it out! If you have the same sort of problems, go to the Adobe download are of the website and download the latest version of Camera raw (it's v4.1.1 at the moment). Follow the instructions and swap the file in for the existing file (but don't delete the existing file!). When you go to open up your "broken" files, they will open in the RAW editor (Yay!). Go to Full edit for each RAW, then cancel and all your broken end-of-file images will be broken no more! By the way, camera RAW is much better that the version I had - more parameters to fiddle with! It might be worth installing the latest version of firmware for your camera too (a100 is currently V1.04). All the information is on the web for how to do it - it's very easy."
