    Praktica LLC

    Hey

I'll state this from the get go, I dont know alot about photography, in fact I dont really know anything, but I'm trying to learn a few tricks for fun. My dad recent gave me his old Praktica LLC camera but with so many parts missing I ended up buying one from ebay which included a Carl Zeiss Jena 50mm lens, but I did keep the lens from my dads camera, but I dont know the details, he bought it in prague and anything written on it is in czech. Anyway thats irrelevant, I've taken a few photos with it just to experiment, and my friend gave me a few basic tips on how to use it.

However I do want to buy a few accessories, first and foremost a flash, as I think thats the biggest problem I've had with it so far. the other thing I wanted to know about was whether its possible to buy a fisheye lens for such an old camera? I think there are some mounts etc that you can buy for it but to be honest I wouldnt know where to start with what is required. I dont want to buy a load of crap so thought I'd ask people that might actually be able to help rather than make it up as I go along... Can anyone suggest what would work best with my camera?

    Thanks

    Zay

Hi-welcome to the forum. You may find this site useful. You will have to find anything you want second hand now-whilst any M42 mount lens will fit you will need lenses with the electric contacts to make full use of the LLC's metering system. I believe any manual electronic flash will work with the LLC-check instruction on above site
