    Camera age from Canon camera body number?

    Hi Guys

    Is it possible to determine the year of manufacture of a Canon DSLR camera from the body number?

    Some say the only way to tell is to cut it in half and count the rings.....

    When we moved in here, you could age the mattress by counting the rings on it.
