    Re: Just a selection.

I love the first environmental portrait, very brave and successful composition, great use of depth of field. Excellent.

I'm not keen on the second portrait but I can't explain why, I'd have to think about it.

I think perhaps there's a few too many shapes the last one, again it doesn't grab me.

The first shot is excellent; the second shot is a good portrait somewhat marred by the blurred shapes behind the sitters head. The third shot is my favourite. Lovely muted colours, interesting composition and intruiging as well. To be mega-picky, I might have cropped most of the white wall off the bottom, but hey-ho, that's just me! Good work.

Thank you very much for replying.

OneTen I would be intrigued as to what you don't like
about the photo. The two portraits are candid, I forgot
    to add.

I like the first one, the last one doesn't hold my interest, in number two I like the light on the subjects face but the uncomfortable looking coat is a distraction, how about a crop and a little darkening like this

Well it wasn't a planned shot and it happened
in a crowded hotel reception. I had to be quick
    about it.

Thanks for the suggestion but Im not sure about the
    crop.

No1,I think is a great image.

No2,I'd prefer the framing taken to the left a bit.

    No3,Not sure.
