    Lens Insurance - Help

    Hi
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question - apologies if I've got it wrong.

I've just purchased a very nice lens which cost me in excess of £1K. I'm struggling to get it insured. I've tried a couple of companies who only insure lenses if they come with the camera. Can anyone help me? I'm looking for accident damage insurance etc.

    Thanks in anticipation

You could try www.photoguard.co.uk - they can also give you Public Liability Insurance and, yes, they also insure bodies. But then, if you slap 50 quid on the value of the body, it won't increase the overall insurance fee for the lens by much.

Glover & Howe are also well-respected for photographic equipment insurance.
