Hello

I am seriously considering switching to Paper Mill Direct for my printer paper rather than pay Epson prices. Users on a forum on another website gave Paper Mill Direct the thumbs up. I was wondering if anyone here has used them and if so if they had an opinion. On the downside, I will have to pay a 3rd party to create an ICC profile as this is not available from Paper Mill Direct.

Can't comment on the paper choice but ....

Do you have a decent flatbed scanner? If so you can produce your own profiles with Profile Prism. It is a software solution that can be downloaded but when you purchase the software the scanner target has to be posted from the states. Only takes a week or so.

I can recommend it and it gives you the advantage that you can produce profiles for any printer/ink/paper combination you may have or might acquire in the future.

I am not sure which size you are printing to, but from time to time, 'BuyEpson' website sell A2 in 25 sheet boxes for anything from £13 to £16 a go post free. Cut down to A3 gives, yes, 50 sheets. Less than 32p per print.
