    Memory Card for my TZ7

    Hi i have just brought a lumix tz7 and want to get a bigger/spare memory card for it. It came with a 4GB class 4 card. i want to get an 8GB card but was wondering what kind of speed that i need? I have found the following...

    1) Sandisk 8GB Extreme III SDHC £60

    Features:

    * Capacity 8GB
    * SD and SDHC Card: Minimum 20MB/ sec sequential read/write speeds
    * Speed performance rating: Class 6 (based on SD 2.0 specification)
    * Easily transfer files between your digital devices and computer
    * High speed USB 2.0 certified reader/writer for fast data transfer
    * Lifetime limited warranty

    2) Integral 8GB SDHC Memory Card Class 6 £18

    Integral's SDHC class 6 range sequentially reads and writes at 6 MB/sec

    3)SanDisk 8GB Ultra Micro SDHC Memory Card Using a SD adaptor

    the card is 10/9 MB/sec Read/Write But will the SD adaptor slow down speeds? its a sandsk one i have laying about.

    I know option 1 is the best card but i dont want to buy that card and it not be of any advantage to me as its alot more money.

    Thanks for any of your help

    All personal choice, but as for the 1st one, I'd check around price wise, as it's only 30.49 at dabs.com.

    Personally I'd have a couple of 4gb cards, so if one went corrupt it wouldn't be too much of a hassle to get a replacement.

    Nights were a real drag, thankfully work's on 2 shifts now [day/back] so more time to do things... If only photography were higher up the pecking order ;-)
