    John 'Hoppy' Hopkins: Against Tyranny

Readers may be interested in this exhibition at the Idea Generation Gallery in London, Chance Street, London E2 until 19th July. (A bit of a promotion for my daughter who is the manager of the gallery)

I've made a mental note of the gallery Clive as I've often thought that I should visit more galleries when I'm in London so I'll make a point of popping in if I'm in the area. Not sure I'll be there before this exhibition ends though.

I hope you can, Barney: I believe its a superb exhibition and Eloise says the guy is wonderful. Unfortunately, because of my current infirmity I am unable to make it.

I've just spent a lovely ten minutes or so browsing through the catalogue Clive and I'll be doing my best to get along to see it. There are some wonderful photos in the collection and I'll have to exercise some real self-restraint to keep my wallet in my pocket I think!

That would be nice, Fen - and Barney, and you could meet my daughter the reddish head to the left of the straw hat in the gallery FlickR images )

What me? NorthernNikon? Alone, in a photographic gallery with an attractive red head? With my reputation? What was Clive thinking?!?

Last night's Evening Standard came up with 5 stars for the exhibition in their revue. I'm so sorry I won't be able to go.

Clive, is your daughter really the manager of the Idea Generation Gallery - or does she just think she is?
    Mike.
That's all very well but what does Ken Rockwell have to say on the matter?

She thinks, therefore she is, I guess, Mike. Here, at the bottom.

Just a gentle tease, Clive. But now I've an 'idea' I'd like to see this stuff.

And I was merely paraphrasing Descartes, Mike, who was from the first Idea Generation,
