There is some lovely stuff on there Robert (and welcome to AP) A very good range of subject matter, well seen and well presented.
But the blurred cyclist? oh dear!

I think it's a potantially great shot. For me, though, there should either have been less or more blur - I think a speed either side would've worked better. Great vision, though - worht a reshoot.

    Hi,
thanks for taking the time to look and for your comments.
'Tis funny how a picture can generate a mixed reaction, the blurred cyclist for example, I personally think is too blurred, but as you say, worth are re-visit, I find the juxtaposition of movement and immovable solidity intriguing - others have commented on how much they like it, hence why it is posted on the site. I have loads of pictures taken over the years and think that the hardest part of the process is deciding what/what not to include.

I think you've got some great shots on there, esp the seascape images. The whole concept of blurred movement in images is one I enjoy, infact on my site there are a couple of really blurred shots I love (Street Photography/Rushing Home and also Time Stands Still) but they generate a lot of mixed reaction

    Thanks mark,
I think we should spearhead a 'lets get movement into stills photography' campaign with the compulsory welding of lensbabies onto all new DSLR's combined with fastest shutter speed of 1/60th.
I have a feeling it may not be too popular after the forced consumption of 'lone foreground rock surrounded by cotton wool sea'
I fear we should move this conversation to the appropriate forum.

You have some great photographs in your gallery, I like the 'landscapes' the best. Keep up the good work.
