I gather quite a few pro Nikon and Canon users since 2006 already use Olymus DSLRs because neither of these manufacturers produced a comparable optic to Olly's 7-14mm zoom until fairly recently.

Well I'm used to carrying a little old silver camera (M6) that passes all the "no 'professional' camera" restrictions (ie black with zoom lens and flash) at some venues and I really rather fancy this as the digital equivalent. Can even use the same lenses, albeit with x2 crop factor.
I saw my first E-P1 around someone's neck yesterday, but didn't have a chance to grab a chat. It looked very fine.![]()
