Luis,
The way I heard to seal signatures is with silicon spray. It's very light, and protects the signature. You need to check this is true as I've never used this myself! Also never heard of it used on or near a camera!
Yes, I was thinking of using my photo varnish for that, but I want to consider all alternatives, including a rubber or silicone layer.
Thanks.
That was me who asked him that question. My favourite part of the Q&A with David Bailey tonight: "David, will you convert to digital?" "No it's 10x8 for me". Queue embarrassed faces from Jessops and Olympus staff promoting the new digital camera.
I actually asked him if he had changed his mind about digital - and although he said he hadn't, a couple of years ago he was slating it ... So, no he hasn't converted, but he has kinda warmed to it a bit more.
Still, if you have the means for shooting and precessing 10x8 then you'll know full well that it knocks spots off digital in terms of image quality.
So it was you who started the wave of embarrasement....
As for the autograph, I have decided to go for gloss varnish, which was fine in the beggining, but it ended up smudging the autograph a little as I moved the camera back a little early. I had to do something as I kept the camera in its case and thought that would be alright but the case kind of rubbed it off a little, so I went for the quick fix, the varnish. It still looks alright, but it bled a little bit, I'll post some pics later.
I knew I hadn't quite got the question right so thanks for the correction! That was me who asked him that question. My favourite part of the Q&A with David Bailey tonight: "David, will you convert to digital?"
