Conflab?

At the risk of being accused of pedantry, I suspect this forum should be called Canon Confab (short for confabulation). A lot of people talk about "conflabs" and I put them right whenever I can. Needless to say, they're all very grateful and thank me for taking the trouble to help them. At least that's my recollection. Anyhow, back to the Pentax/Samsung section.

Hi Al. We're all eternally grateful to you for pointing that out to us but I should inform you that "conflab" is actually a combination of the words "conman" and "flab" in that it is a descriptive term for the guy who moderates the forum! Similarily with the Nikon "Chat" forum, the word "Chat" is a combination of the words "Chav" and "Fat" as this is a descriptive term for anyone who actually posts in there!

Hope this has cleared matters up for you.

Thanks for the clarification, chaps. I think you've come up with the perfect nickname for a friend of mine who's a rather portly used-car dealer. I'll try it out when I see him. I'm sure he'll appreciate the wit.
