    Hama Wireless Remote

    Hello
    Quick simple question.
Has anyone used a Hama Wireless Remote? If so is it ok?
    Amazon link below.
    Many thanks.

I bought one last week - it works fine - no problems at all.

I wouldn't say the instructions are the clearest in the world but after simple trial and error - it works well.

The quality, fit and finish is not as good as my original Canon corded remote and you need to be careful when inserting the plug into the camera body but it all works as described.

A very useful and versatile bit of kit at a good price.

I bought one a couple of months back after positive reviews in AP and WDC. Excellent bit of kit.

I wonder if anyone has bought the CA-2 version for a Canon 5D/5D2. Although it is listed on Amazon the picture shows a unit with a jack plug rather than the RS-80N3 type plug and oddly appears to be £8 cheaper than the CA-1 version. Thanks - John

The screen shot of the Nikon fit one shows a jackplug as well - I'll let you know if that's what it arrives with...

(The description states that it comes with an MC-30 type plug and is suitable for Dx00s and the like, so I'm pretty sure I've ordered the correct fitting!)

D'oh! You said Hama - mine's a Hahnel, which came with both plugs.

    Re: Hama Wireless Remote

Looking at both the Hama Wireless CA-1 and the Hahnel HW433 C80, it seems that apart from the Hahnel having plugs to fit different cameras, they look identical. Is this so..??

Sorry to be a pain again. Does the Hama receiver clip onto the camera hotshoe like the Hahnel does?
