Pensthorpe (The Springwatch venue) are holding their Mediaeval Spectacular on Sat, 29th August 2009 to Mon, 31st August 2009 10:00am - 17:00pm.
I've been to this event a couple of times now and it's full of photographic opportunities, plus there are some rather interesting trade stands with goods of the period for sale. I'll not even mention the beer tent and hog roast. If you get tired of it all there is plenty of wildlife to photograph.
