This would stick out like a sore thumb though, although it is small enough to hide quite easily!
Ah yes, but it doesn't look like a DSLR so therefore there's no way it could cost as much as one! Repeat after me, "Compacts are cheap as chips these days dear."

Good points, but she'd be suspicious if I caller her 'Dear!'

EDIT: I wonder if that would work when I come home with a Leica M7 and a couple of lenses?
    Thanks

Well in that case your tack should be, "Nobody wants film cameras these days so they're cheap as chips!"

From tomorrow morning I will be out of internet cover for a week - so you lot will have to decide if the new Oly is a huge dissapoinment or a must have without my help

Don't worry. You, or me, won't be able to buy it for months.
We know that this thing exists. Respectable sites, like our own sponsors, are not commenting on the speculation presumably because they have already have seen it, or even have one to play with. All the speculators don't really know any more than we do. Just be patient and all will be revealed. June 15 or 16th.

Roght, I'm off to bed now and as I'm out of the office all day tomorrow I fully expect you to know all* about the new Oly MFT by the time I return. It's probably as well that I'm on the road as I doubt I'd get much work done otherwise what with clicking refresh on the Olympus website news page every five seconds.

    * I will accept 82% as being close enough to all.

    Lovely!

I like this Pen chronology with the empty space at the end - here.

There was a film about the Pen on that page but it seems to have gone now. Perhaps it's being updated to include the new model.

It's the 16th in Japan now (but only 1:10 AM), so we might get some news before the night is out!
    Thanks

Black and silver for me with a brown leather case plus flash and viewfinder and extra lens.

Sold, if the price is right.
