    Could have done with a longer lens, but a crop from the 300 beat the 150-500 most times. What we need is a DA*100ish - 400. A viable TC would be a start.

    At Shoreham I was glad of the wide zoom range of the 50-500. At the top end of some displays it was actually too short!! The short end is useful as the aircraft taxi out about 25feet in front of the crowdline. I had a 28-200 on a second body and needed it.
