    Sony RAW Files

I inadvertantly had my A100 set on RAW (Didn't realize til I downloaded the pics).

However, when I went to work on them using SONY's Image Data Converter SR Ver.2, the only thing I could adjust was the Tone Curve.
None of the other palettes (Adjustments 1, 2 & 3) were visible.
I uploaded this version when I got my A350. Does this mean that this new version will now only read RAW files taken on my A350 or am I missing something?
The only options I have at the moment is either convert the files to TIFF and work in CS, or convert to JPG and use my normal editing suite.
If I decide on the second option, is there a freebie I can download that will convert all my SONY RAW's to JPG's in one go?

Your quite right, Version 1 will only work with the A100, version 2 will work for the A200-A350, as a freebie it serves it's purpose when editing raw files, if you intend to shoot a lot of Raw files it would probably be beneficial for you to buy a commerical product, I mainly use Lightroom, as I find Sony's product slow & limiting.

As a temp measure you should be able to download the A100 driver off of the web site and maybe edit the images by possibly downloading free trials for Adobe & Corel products ?.

Many thanks. Luckily I still have Version 1 on my computer. I do have Adobe CS, so can save the files as .TIFF and use that.

Looking at buying a couple of new lens (Sigmas F2.8 24-70 and 70-200) so upgrading the editing software will have to wait.
