    Ilford Panchromatic HP3 120 FILM

    Hi All,
I have just come across a roll of exposed Ilford Panchromatic HP3 120 film that was probably exposed by my late Father so it has to be at least 25 years old though probably much much later than that as I never recall him shooting anything other that 35mm.
Does any members of the forum know where I might get it developed and transferred to disc and what are the chances of the film being successfuly developed?
    Thanks.

Could be even older, Ilford discontinued HP3 in 1967. Sorry I can not help with where to get it developed and scanned though.

    Try these people.

I've never had need to use them, but they should have more experience than most.

I bought an old camera a few years ago, and the LF dark slides contained film which I developed successfully. Looked as though they were estate agents shots from the 1950s.

A few months ago I purchased a rather nice Mamiya C3.It also came with a box full of bits-including an unopened, unexposed roll of HP3.It kinda suggests that was when the camera was last used.I may shoot that roll of film for a laugh and see if anything happens.I have a bagfull of about 200 rolls of 120 in various flavours, pretty much all of which is out of date by 5 or 6 years but it has all been kept cool and in the dark and I havent had any problems with any of them providing I back off their recommended ISO ratings a little and develop accordingly.
