Any one dismantled an Olympus zoom lens lately?

Acute case of dismantleitis is causing me to eye the watchmaker's screwdriver set this morning!

The lens (14-45mm) appears stuck at the 25mm setting - the iris appears to be open all the time as well (I think one blade appears slightly recessed compared to the others)

As the cost of repairing a "kit zoom" is probably not worth expending (they seem to fetch in £50 region on eBay) I am tempted to see if the rear mount will come off and if a quick vacuum will sort out the grit problem I am assuming it to be.

As it's the office camera, the worst that can happen is the sack!

Do it.......You know that you want to!
Actually,I would attempt repair if lens was mine, but....
Or, why not confirm with your boss first, he may just let you try to fix it.
    Kenny.

The tears of laughter were running down my legs.
