    Minolta 5400HS Flash

I have the above flash gun which I know is not suitable with either of my Sony cameras (A100 and A350).

However, could I use it in wireless/remote flash mode?

    Steve,

Although it won't wireless/remote function it will still work with your alpha's in manual mode and with the ability of digital to immediately view your image and also check the histogram you should quickly find flash settings to achieve your needs.

Also remember that the ADI flashes also work best with 'D' capable lenses

    Hi Ron

The only thing is, I have to turn the eV right down. Even if I'm using it on bounce mode. The number of times I've done that, taken off the unit for a different shot and wondered why everything has come out dark.
I'll save up for one of the Sony compatable ones.
