    Off camera flash gun suggestions?

Tax refund dough coming up, would like to get a flash for my K100D Super.

Would like it to be able to be off the camera and still fire, so I can work with different light angles.

Not sure what these things go for, would like to keep it under, say 150$ (USA money) if that's at all possible.

    Cheers!

Try the Pentax AF36-PFZ supposed to do what you're asking as is the Metz 48 af-1 which is more powerful (ie. 48metres at ISO100 rather than 36metres of the Pentax)

I have read that using the onboard popup flash doesnt always work as a remote trigger though so I would check this out, maybe someone else reading this has experience of actually doing this with this kit ?

On the K10D/k20D you set the camera to wireless mode to disable the pre flash, then it works. Not sure about the other models though.
