Looking for a 35mm negative scanner with a budget of £150

I apologise in advance if this has been asked before but I had a quick look through the threads and decided it was getting late.

I'm looking for a low end negative scanner that's capable of up to a3 prints, I'm completely new to negative scanners so I don't know if my budget will accommodate that, but being a college student I'm a bit tight for cash. At the moment I'm shooting on a 35mm Nikon F80 and developing Kodak black and white film in the dark room and the printing gets a bit tedious every now and then.

Any advice would be appreciated =).

Next week's copy of the BJP is doing an item on scanners, so is probably worth getting a copy. Looks as though it might be covering your query.

Yes, check out the BJP first. I suggest that a flat bed with film holders may be better than a low cost dedicated film scanner. I have the Epson 4990 and the Nikon 5000 and would say the Epson isn't that far behind and will scan up to 8x10s.
