In the zone?

No not Ansels zone but the one where you become completely divorced from the outside world and at one with your camera.
I get it occasionally, the view in the finder frame becomes divorced from the rest of the scene, fingers adjust focus and controls without (it seems) conscious thought and you move around your subject totally in thrall to your pre-visualised image.
It is indeed a peaceful place to be.
