    1/4" to 3/8" tripod adapter.

    I got one of these off Ebay, for my Kiev 6C, as I can't really buy a tripod for my MF camera at the mo. I can now use it with a regular tripod. Just thought you would like to know, it's a nice cheap alternative that can get you out of a tight spot.

    Most Jessops carry these for a few pence. No need for fleabay

    I never found any in any Jessiesor Jacobs for that matter, hence I went to fleabay.

    Maybe, but it costs me £30 to make a round trip to my nearest camera shop (even Jessies). OTOH if I buy mail order, the postie brings the stuff to me. There's not much to go wrong with a tripod adapter, so fleabay seems safe enough.
