    Re: New member intro

No - I'm familiar with the number and placement of the eyes, I was referring to the several other shiny hemispheres of similar size that show in other places.
Ahhh....no idea what all the really little bits are called but there's some "lumpy bits" on the palps that I think look a bit like eyes in this pic.

Not sure if the male has hooks on the end of his palps but the female does (focus stacked if you're wondering about the DoF) Fascinating things up close....roll on summer

    Re: Big Brother

Just want to congratulate everybody for the wonderful images in this moth's competition.
And, of course, good luck to all!
You got in at the last minute. Does it give you the same rush as bidding on ebay?

Whoops, forgot. I'm not supposed to be here.

Does this mean we will find out the winners of the March comp before morning?

Indeed, I was a hair close to missing the deadline.
I've been away for a couple of days since I've registered here and only got back last night.
I apologize for the rush, I would have preferred posting earlier if it were possible.

I'm not sure what you meant about ebay, I've never used it and I'm not familiar how things work over there.
    All the best

    Bogdan

That's all very well but what does Ken Rockwell have to say on the matter?

There are some excellent entries this month. Always a good standard for the comps. Whether this is because of the prizes I don't know but it may contribute to al the newbies signing up to enter.

I doubt mine will come anywhere as it was a bit rushed while I was away at the inlaws (didn't think I'd make it but found a wifi connection and uploaded it).
Anyway, it's the taking part that counts.. who needs a mug anyway, it's only another thing that needs washing up.

Good luck to all that entered.

Hmm one of the images made me think of a new word,
Photoshoptard, maybe it could be shortened to shoptard.
