Some time ago I picked up a geared macro rail, a Cullmann 3060 arm, at a bargain price (£5?) in the local market. I'm now wondering whether to buy the mating head, the Cullmann 3030 head so does anyone have any comments on it? The macro rail is mainly plastic, so I suppose the head is as well. Is it strong enough to support a medium size macro lens (Sigma 150 f2.8) with a DSLR attached? and in the funny angles encountered in macro work?
