Processing RAW files in Elements 4

    Hi
I use Photoshop Elements 4. When I use my Nikon D70 and shoot in RAW, my files can be processed easily using this program. When I use my Nikon D200, the program does not support the RAW files from this camera so I am unable to process the files from it. Do I need to upgrade to another program or is there anything I can do? Alternatively, is there a program similar to the one I use that I will need to purchase? Help!
    Thanks!

In order to process raw files from your D200 you only need Elements version 3 or better. However, you do need ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) version 3.3 or better. Check your ACR version and if below 3.3 download that version from Adobe.

In fact you can go as high as version 3.7 to use in Elements 4.0 from here. (clicky)

Thank you, how do I check which version I have? Also, once downloaded how do I use it? I assume it just automatically updates my version of elements? (Sorry for all the questions, not very good with these programs!)

Try - Help -> About Plugin -> Camera Raw

The installation instructions should be in the zip file that you download from Adobe. If you are using Windows Vista or XP you should be able to open the zip file as a folder otherwise you will need something like Winzip to 'unzip' the file. The installation instructions are also on the page I pointed you to.
